Lunch n’ Learns for Legacy Group Capital Employees
Organized and facilitated engaging Lunch & Learn sessions, inviting external speakers to share expertise on topics like maximizing retirement savings and achieving personal goals. I also wrote an article summarizing key takeaways from a session focused on personal goal setting, which was shared with the entire company. I created the Lunch & Learn series to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the company, and I'm proud to have contributed to a more engaged and informed workforce. By coordinating logistics, securing captivating speakers, and curating a welcoming atmosphere, I empowered colleagues to expand their skillsets and achieve personal and professional goals.
Community Impact: Food Drive Partnership
In 2023, I spearheaded a company-wide food drive in partnership with Northwest Harvest to support our local Bellevue/Seattle community. I took the lead in organizing the entire initiative, from crafting and executing a comprehensive marketing campaign to coordinating the food drive logistics. This involved designing and sending three email blasts, creating engaging social media posts, producing a post-event video, and personally transporting the donated food to the Northwest Harvest pantry. Additionally, I extended the campaign to other offices in our building and organized a raffle to incentivize employee participation. Through these efforts, our team successfully collected over 550 food items and $100 in cash, making a significant impact on our local community.
Gratitude Week
I initiated a company-wide Gratitude Week initiative to promote positivity and appreciation among colleagues. I conceptualized and executed this initiative, designing and printing all necessary materials, including note templates and promotional flyers. Gratitude buckets were placed in common areas and encouraged employees to write heartfelt messages, and this simple yet impactful gesture significantly boosted morale and strengthened team bonds. To further enhance the experience, I filmed and edited a video showcasing the heartwarming process of delivering gratitude notes to employees. The company has made this initiative an annual tradition.
